Shraddha skirt
A short skirt constructed from layers of delicate lace and textured embroidery, creating a soft, tactile surface that falls lightly around the hips. Fine strands of hanging lace extend from the body of the skirt and move freely with the wearer, giving the piece a sense of constant motion and fluidity.
One side of the skirt is left open, exposing the body beneath and interrupting the otherwise delicate silhouette. The opening is held together by a series of engraved wooden pieces placed horizontally along the side, acting as both fastening and ornament. The carved wood introduces a raw, sculptural element against the softness of the lace, creating a contrast between fragility and structure.
